Getting involved with Flin’s Fitness Classes couldn’t be easier.
Class registrations are handled via the Team Up Dashboard on this website, click to this from the Home page
On the Class Calendar, you can view the classes for the day, or change the view to a week or month view.
If you click on the class you wish to attend, it will then take you through the first process which is registration… a one time thing which takes a couple of minutes!
You can select whether to pay online, or buy a cheaper membership – class packs are good value and have NO expiry date!
You can select to pay offline if you would rather pay cash at class!
Once booked on, you can come along a few minutes before class, to give one of us instructors time to say hello … if Lynn or Julie is booking in that evening, please do make sure whoever is teaching gets to say hello! Please do remind us that you are new! ?
Instructors will be myself – Fran, Emma, Jules, Rosie, Carrie, Tracey, or Kelly
There are directions to either Newstead, Westcombe Park or Tubbenden on the Find Us page, plus postcodes if you find it easier to google directions or use a sat nav.
What happens if I’ve booked but can’t come?
Don’t worry, this happens ALL the time …. trains, family stuff….LIFE!
If you can, click onto the dashboard and unregister – this will automatically return any payment made, or class back onto your dashboard to use another day. If you unregister too late (10 mins before start of class), I will manually refund you but email me if you don’t receive the refund within a couple of days …occasionally I miss one!
What do I need to do?
Come into the hall for booking in…this is our opportunity to say hello and check whether you have injuries or health issues – we try to be quick…. filling in the health screen form before you come, or setting up your account on our dashboard & pre registering helps us to be quicker!
What do I need to wear?
Something comfortable to move around in plus a reasonable pair of trainers is important to support your feet properly for the active classes, while for Pilates or Yoga classes we encourage non slip socks or bare feet. If you’re coming for one of the high impact classes like HIIT or Insanity you’ll need to wear proper cross trainers or running trainers as we have a hard floor in the halls. They don’t need to be expensive, just have springy soles.
Do I need to bring anything?
A bottle of water or a drink to keep well hydrated is essential. A small towel to put on your mat to absorb sweat would be a good idea. If you’re coming to Pilates, the towel is very useful for some of the mat work.
What class is right for me?
Because we welcome everyone, including beginners and the very unfit, the classes are all mixed ability and multi-levelled, allowing the very fit and the less confident to work at different intensities alongside one another.
