The Power of a DANCE class!


Hiya,


Following on from my blogs about Pilates and Strength style classes, we have another genre that we do so well at Flin's:

DANCE style classes.


An amazing mood lift, dance classes are incredibly popular with good reason:

  • Improvement to CV fitness - it's an aerobic workout!

  • Strength & flexibility - using core and limbs ...full body approach.

  • Coordination & balance - improving motor skills and body awareness.

  • Posture - encouraging taller, more upright movement.


From a mental health perspective, dance classes:

  • Boost brain health - learning routines and connecting body with music.

  • Bring social connections, friendship, laughter and human interaction.

  • Build confidence.

  • Often bring pure joy by releasing those good mood hormones.

Loud music, body movement and interaction .... this is powerful from a fitness class!

We also have a bi-monthly FREE event at Flin's Fitness - Dance Because Nobody's Watching ...all welcome .... the next event is on Sunday March 22nd at 12pm.
